Llain Gwynfor Holiday Home in Trefin
Llain Gwynfor is a wonderful detached house in the village of Trefin, built to modern specifications but with a traditional appearance and offering super sea views over the fields to the rear.
Finished to a high standard throughout in a contemporary style, it offers quality holiday accommodation with porcelain tiled floors on the ground floor and the whole property benefits from underfloor heating. The open plan living space is a delight with a modern, quality, fitted kitchen which is perfect for preparing family meals; comfortable seating with a Rais wood burning stove for those chillier evenings, ideal for relaxing. Arches lead through to the spacious dining room where three sets of bi-fold doors open this area fully to the enclosed garden, making the most of those long summer days and evenings with a large paved terrace and slope up to the lawn which gives plenty of space for children to play, while you enjoy an alfresco meal. There are 4 bedrooms off the super, galleried landing, the 2 rear double rooms offer stunning views over the fields to the coast, Strumble Head and out to sea.
Situated on the edge of the village of Trefin, there is a good local pub, The Ship Inn and The Mill Cafe and Gallery are all within walking distance. In nearby Square & Compass you will find a garage with convenience store for your groceries. Within a few hundred yards you can join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this stunning rugged coastline with its hidden coves.
Walk down to Aberferlin beach with its rock pools and sand and shingle beach just below Trefin, then take the path over the cliff tops to Abercastle, a beautiful inlet and popular quaint fishing village. Take advantage of the local bus service, the Puffin Shuttle and leave your car behind. The picturesque coves and beaches of Porthgain and Abermawr are within easy reach and ready to be explored.
Further afield lies the bustling harbour town of Fishguard with a range of facilities or to the west lies St Davids, this tiny City is famous for its Cathedral and Bishops Palace, as well as an excellent choice of shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs to sample.
